Clare Cup 2009
The Senior hurling team finished the Clare Cup tied on points with Crusheen and Clooney / Quin. Only two make the semi-finals so a three way play off now takes place. In the draw last Monday night, Crusheen and Clooney/Quin were first out so they meet in the first match. The winner of this game becomes team 1 in to the semi-finals. The loser of that game then plays Newmarket to see who is team 2 into the semi-final. Team 1 will play Scariff while team 2 will play Clonlara in the semi-final. Newmarket's play off game is provisionally fixed for the weekend 8/9th August. Their next Championship match against Tubber is scheduled for 15th August.
