Club Fundraiser
For payment of €300 each subscriber will receive:
a) One year club membership which would cost you €40.
b) One ticket for the County Board Draw which would cost €60.
c) Free admission into all club games in Clare (both hurling and football underage and senior) valid until June 1st 2010.
d) Free admission into all camogie matches in Clare.
e) Free entry (one ticket) into the club’s Lotto Draw for one year which would otherwise cost you €78.
f ) Free entry into a special club draw for fully paid up Debenture Card holders which will have a special prize fund of €5,000.
Our Club is fully aware of the financial demands that people face at this time, we are conscious that it is the same small circle of people who fund our lottery, pay our membership, support our County Board Draw and at the same time attend our matches, which yet again are an occassion of expense.
This year we are undertaking significant necessary field improvements, the project is to upgrade our second field into a floodlit, sand based playing surface with its own state of the art irrigation system. Overall cost is calculated at €140,000 approx. We have been extremly fortunate to receive approval of a Sports Capital Grant of €95,000. This requires our Club to make up the shortfall of €45,000. In addittion we have the very considerable cost of financing the activity of 33 teams playing hurling, underage football, ladies football and camogie. In all over 550 persons between the age of 6 to late thirties are provided for. To continue to operate this level of activity creates evergrowing financial demands.
In consultation with the Clare County Board we have devised a fundraising scheme which we hope you will find attractive.We are seeking a personal contribution of a one off payment of €300 or €25 per month for twelve months by Bank DD. We hope you will find this fund raiser attractive, a member of our club will contact you in the coming days to further discuss this promotion with you.
